We can conquer the world
In love you and I
You and I, you and I...
-Michael Buble, "You and I"
Rose and Jared’s romantic afternoon wedding was everything. A ceremony on the lawn of an old plantation home; the reception a garden party under an oak tree, a single chandelier hanging amongst the Spanish moss. So understated and yet so glamorous at the same time. And what's more? This wedding--from proposal to vows--happened in under 6 months. The bride and her sister have such great taste -- the two of them together are unstoppable! The Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation was the perfect setting for this late afternoon wedding and Rose had an All-Star team of wedding vendors. Besides her sister (amazing design skills due in part to many years of working at Dutchman's!) there was also the All Star catering team from Straton Hall who transformed the outdoor area with a dreamy assortment of vintage furniture set with silver and crystal. The entire day was just breathtaking and I can't wait to share it with you!
I do have to mention a couple of things: Rose's dress and her jewelry! You have to go check out Poinsett Bride if you're anywhere near Greenville, SC. Their accessories are beautiful! And any ladies out their shopping for a wedding gown-- Bridal's By Lori. One look at Rose's wedding gown and you'll be convinced!
A lot of planning and hard work goes into a wedding this gorgeous! It looks easy but as a lot of you know, it's not. Sometimes it's easy to get fixated on two or three details and loose sight of the bigger picture. One of my favorite stories Rose shared ends with a friend of hers saying, "You're getting married no matter what on May 9th so you might as well just relax and enjoy the process."
So do you agree with me, it's everything? Rose and Jared, I am so happy for you all! Thank you for letting me photograph your romantic wedding day!
